According to data compiled and released by The Heritage Foundation, in relation to annual convicted criminal alien encounters by US Border Patrol, illegal weapons possession, transport, and trafficking encounters have increased 530.6% since Trump’s last year in office (2020). The recorded count during Trump’s last year in office was 49. The recorded count during Biden’s current year in office is 309.

This data only encompasses encounters involving the US Border Patrol and does not encompass data outside of that context.
